Cooper North Elementary is conducting a no-sale fundraiser. All we ask is that parents and friends of our school bring in their no longer used cell phones, laptops, inkjets, ipods, digital cameras and digital video cameras to our school. The collection box is just inside the office. Please note that we cannot take phone chargers.
Clear out some of the old technology taking up space in your drawer at home as you wonder what to do with it. Now it can be used to raise money for our school.
Funds collected when we send the items in will be used to cover lunch costs for students who have forgotten their lunch or whose lunch accounts have run out. In the past, teachers and administrators have paid for these lunches themselves so their students can get a good lunch.
Encourage your friends and neighbors to contribute their items as well. With a successful drive, we can be sure these students have a healthy lunch without putting the expectation on administration or teachers to cover the cost.
Please Note: This is an on-going event. We will continue this drive throughout the year to give everyone a chance to bring in old technology devices. Don't forget to pass the word among friends!
